According to our honourable Railway Minister, Mr Ashwini Vaishnav, the additional general coaches were added to 108 trains and 12,500 coaches have been already sanctioned in order to take care of the extra rush during the time of the festival. Hence, these trains will start from 6th of October, followed by Diwali on 1st of November and Chhath Puja on 7th and 8th of November. The exact routes, dates and the timings of these special trains are not yet officially announced by the Indian Railways but soon it will be official.
